Animal Bowen Technique, A Gentle Therapy.

Animal Bowen Technique
The Bowen Technique was developed in Australia by Tom Bowen in the mid '50s, he treated over 13,000 patients per year with an 80-90% success rate. Although not originally developed for animals, it has now been adapted so that animals can be treated just as effectively.

Animal Bowen Technique also know as Bowen Therapy is a remarkable yet gentle body therapy. It is an holistic body therapy that balances and integrates all the physical and energetic systems, releasing blockages to promote a natural state of perfect health.

The Bowen Technique is a simple but effective gentle, hands on, non-invasive, body balancing system, encouraging the body to realign and heal itself. Through gentle moves on muscles, tendons, ligaments and soft tissue at a series of key points on the body, it stimulates energy flow that releases tension, strains and blockages, helping the body's own resources to naturally re-balance and heal itself.

The Bowen Technique can also help with negative emotions, improve physical and mental performance and also improve sleep. The therapy can be beneficial for any of the health issues below and can help to improve the quality of life for your pets.

Animal Bowen Technique should not be used as a substitute for professional veterinary care and should be used in conjunction with orthodox veterinary treatment. Animal Bowen therapists do not diagnose this is left to the vet and the therapist will not prescribe any kind of medication.

Please note that not all Bowen Technique therapists work on animals so please check before booking.
