Reiki Therapy
Reiki is an ancient Tibetan form of healing which raises the bodys natural vibrational energy, promoting healing for humans and animals. It relieves pain and promotes a deep feeling of calmness. It can be incorporated into a massage to increase the therapeutic power of the treatment.

Reiki is the Japanes for 'universal life force'. The energy is known as 'Chi' in Chinese therapies or 'Prana' in Ayurvedic medicine and flows around the body along energy pathways or meridians. If this energy is blocked, disease can occur. This gentle healing system allows the practitioner to balance the ife force by channelling energy to remove the blockages, energising both the giver and the receiver.

By boosting energy at every level, physical, mental, spiritual and emotional, it helps to relieve pain and physical symptoms as well as treating emotional blockages, depression and stress related problems. Reiki can never cause harm as the energy will flow to whichever part of the body needs it most.

Tried And Tested
A treatment is a deeply relaxing experience often accompanied by tingling and warmth. Many people see vivid colours and experience both a physical and emotional release bringing new insight to problems. But everyone will experience something different but all pleasant. The practitioner gently places their hands in a series of positions on the body. The clients system automatically draws in the amount of healing energy that is needed; using whatever way is most appropriate at the time. The healing energy will go to where the body needs it most.

It is a misconception that you need to know the Reiki symbols before you have a treatment don't worry you don't need to know the symbols.
